DRAWING CLASSES: Have you always wanted to be able
to draw? NOW, you CAN! I will teach you how to draw well by teaching you
how to see differently. These classes are based on Betty Edwards' book,
"The New Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain". All of the basic skills
you need to draw well are covered in this course.
I have been teaching this course for 20+ years and it is still thrilling
to me to see each student's progress and their amazement when they realize
that they CAN DRAW! This class is open to anyone 12 or older who has never
drawn or wants to improve their drawing skills. $170 for the course with
a $40 deposit required to hold your place.

Private lessons: Private lessons are available in my studio ($40 per hour) or at your home ($50 per hour). Time will be arranged at our mutual convenience. Private lessons may be shared by two people.
WHAT'S AFTER THE DRAWING CLASSES? "These basic subjects (art supplies) are best learned in sequence: first drawing, then color, then painting." Betty Edwards ON-GOING CLASSES - PAINTING/ADVANCED DRAWING: Saturdays from 9 to 12 These classes are tailored to each individual's needs and are for students who desire to go beyond the basic drawing class. Students may work in pencil, conte', charcoal, pastel, oil or acrylic. Each student will receive individual attention at their easel. $25 per class. Limited to 8 people. Call to reserve your easel.
COLOR CLASS: Great artists know that using the right colors
in the right ways can make the difference between an average painting and
a masterpiece! Learn how to accurately perceive, combine, and use the beauty
of color with simple techniques that can improve your ability to paint.
Includes introduction to color theory, color mixing and color harmony exercises.
Students may work in oils, acrylics, gouache, or watercolor (acrylics preferred). $185 for the course, with a $40 deposit to hold your place (some supplies included).

PASTEL WORKSHOP - DON'T MISS IT!
November 14 - 6:30PM to 9:00PM, November 15 - 9:30 to 4:30 at my studio.
ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED! This is a fabulous opportunity to learn everything
you wanted to know about pastels. I lecture and demonstrate on Friday evening
and you will get hand-on experience by doing one to two small still lifes
from the still life setup on Saturday. Limited to 8 people. $100 for the workshop with a $50 deposit required
ON-GOING LIFE DRAWING CLASS: No instruction. Wednesdays from 6 to 9. Drawing/painting
